 Wrap Around Care

Wrap around care usually operates in the school hall, or outside in nice weather. When there are school events on, for example school plays, classrooms will be used.

Current staff are include Mrs Maguire, Miss Postlethwaite, Mrs Simmonds, Mrs Ebbage, Mrs Blaze and Miss Rutter. All are also Teaching Assistants at the school so know the children well. All staff are emergency first aid trained, and will be supported by the wider school team as well.

In the morning, the children are provided with breakfast such as cereal and toast. In the afternoons, they have a snack provided, such as sandwiches and fruit.

The hours provided for are as follows:

Breakfast: 7:30–8:40 (£6.00 per session or any part thereof).

Afternoon: 15:20 –18:00 (£11.50 per session or any part thereof).

Lateness: Any child not collected by 6pm will incur a £10.00 late charge for every half hour of lateness.

To ensure that places can be secured, parents need to pay in advance via School Money, which has a booking system. Full instructions on how to pay and book a place can be accessed via the link below.  A Parent user guide is also attached for your information. Parents who use Childcare Voucher schemes are able to use these on the system.

The section on Club Bookings starts at 5.50 mins. Please note, we do not book or pay for school meals through School Money.  This is done through ParentPay.

We aim to be as flexible as possible for parents. With this in mind, places can be booked, or cancelled, until midnight the day before the wrap around care is needed. Once you pay for your place, any booked session which is not cancelled by this time will still accrue the charge.  

Thereis a maximum of 35 places both in the morning and in the afternoon.  These places are be on a first come, first served basis. W
